Senior Attorney advising on and litigating Intellectual Property matters, with an emphasis on trademarks, trade names, anti-counterfeiting, unfair competition and patent law. Extensive experience in IP prosecution and litigation, before IPO and national courts, in interlocutory proceedings, and opposition proceedings.

Advising clients on non-litigious matters, including the drafting and negotiating of IP (licence) agreements. With an engineering background, frequently involved in IP licensing and technology transfer agreements.

Regular speaker at Intellectual Property conferences and also lecture on IP law issues at Chambers of Commerce, Punjab Judicial Academy for Judges and national universities across Pakistan.

Attended SEAD Course on Patent Drafting organized by FICPI and IPOS (2003).

An active Member of International Trademark Association (INTA), USA. and served as Member of various INTA Committees over the years. Presently serving on the Famous and Well Known Marks Committee 2023.

Member of Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) and currently serving as a Member of “Committee on Industrial Designs”

Member of the Lahore High Court Bar Association and life Member of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

Active member of INTA, AIPPI and APAA.
